Year 2 Animal Olympics

Our Year 2 children had a great time at the Animal Olympics! They participated in many different sporting activities, showing off the skills they have learnt in PE.

Year 3/4 Athletics

Our Year 3/4 Athletics Team competed in and won the Rossendale Qualifiers. They showed great team work, and we are proud of them all!

Year 5/6 Athletics

Our Year 5/6 Athletics Team competed in the Rossendale Small School Finals and came in an amazing 2nd place. Well done Team Water!!

KS2 Quad Kids Athletics

Some of our KS2 children competed in the Quad Kids Athletics Competition, which included both field events and track events. They all smashed it and came in 2nd place. Well done Team Water!

Year 5/6 Girls Badminton

Well done to Lottie and Maya who competed in the badminton competition! The girls also won the School Games Value Award. Go Team Water.

Year 3/4 Change4Life Festival

Some of our Year 3/4 children attended the Change4Life Festival. They had to make their own smoothies, play games, go on the climbing wall and have a go at some equipment in the gym. They had so much fun!

Colour Run

We had a whole school colour run to help raise money for our annual school sports week! Everyone had so much fun, and we can't wait to do it again next year!

 

Year 3/4 Cricket

Well done to our Year 3/4 Cricket Team who competed in the Rossendale Cricket competition. They came in 2nd place!

KS1 All Stars Cricket Festival

Our KS1 children had a great time at the All Starts Cricket Event.

Year 3/4 Cross Country

Wow! What an amazing evening!

We had a total of 12 incredible children competing. 2 of them placed in the top 10 in Rossendale.

We had a total of 19 incredible children competing.

Viola came in the top 5 in Rossendale and Jacob came in the Top 10 in Rossendale.

Dance 2025

Our KS2 dancers competed in the annual Rossendale Dance Festival at Burnley Mechanics. They worked tirelessly perfecting their dance, and they smashed it on the day. Great work Team Water!

Year 5/6 Dodgeball

Our Year 5/6 children competed in the Rossendale qualifiers. They showed all of our school values, and we are extremely proud of them!

Year 5/6 Mixed Football

Our Year 5/6 Mixed Football Team has had a very busy year. We have competed in Burnley FC competitions and Rossnedale competitions. We won the Rossendale Small School competition and went on to represent Rossendale in the Lancashire Finals.

Year 5/6 Girls Football

Our girls' football team has had another successful year. Just like the mixed team, they have competed in both Burnley FC and Rossendale competitions. The girls won the Burnley FC league, winning every game and conceding 0 goals.

Year 3/4 Mixed Football

Our year 3/4 Football Team have had an outstanding year of football! They competed in a Burnley FC tournament and finished 2nd after narrowly losing on penalties in the final. They also competed in Rossendale competitions too! Well done team.

KS2 Panathlon - Ten-Pin Bowling

Some of our KS2 superstars had an amazing time at the Ten-Pin bowling event. 

Year 5/6 Table Tennis

Our Year 5/6 Table Tennis Team competed in the Rossendale Qualifiers. They were amazing as this was their first time playing table tennis. Well done!

Year 5/6 Tennis

Our amazing Year 5/6 Tennis Team competed in the Rossendale Qualifiers and placed in 2nd place. They then competed in the Rossendale Finals! Well done Team Water.

Year 6/7 Transition Events

Our Year 6 children have participated in a glow in the dark dodgeball and a football transition event to help get them ready for high school.

Year 3/4 Tri Golf

Our Year 3/4 Tri golf team consisted of 2 boys and 2 girls. They completed many different golfing activities, trying to earn as many points as possible. After completing all the activities, we had the most points and came in first place! Go Team Water.
