Below is some practical information (first document) which will hopefully support home learning for children with additional needs. As there are so many useful resources online it can seem overwhelming, especially if you have a child at home who is already struggling with the lack of routine and structure. Rather than send you lots of links for additional ‘formal teaching’ (teachers will also be sending these via the school website), I thought it might be useful for you to have some sensory/practical/screen free activities to do at home. I have tried to think of as many as I can that you can do with everyday household objects as I know you may not have ‘school’ resources at home. I have also added a selection of social stories about coronavirus and the school closure to this page.
